BEHIND THE LENS

Hey! My name is Isa Bruna and I am a 20 year-old photographer based in Miami and Orlando, Florida. My passion for photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I remember making short videos and creating picture scenes with my littlest pet shop when I was 6. I would always make sure to steal the camera from my parents whenever we were on a trip, and beg for a waterproof disposable camera whenever we went to a pharmacy.

I started Complex Captured my freshman year in high school because by that time I had saved to buy my camera, and all I wanted was to take pictures for whoever was willing to pose for me. Since then, I have had the honor of working with many companies and non-profit organizations by capturing the atmosphere of their events and the impact of their work. I have also been able to capture the love between so many families and friends through shoots ranging from maternity shoots to quinceañeras. Also, having the opportunity to take so many senior pictures, has brought me joy in helping capture their final moments before moving on to their next chapter in life. Capturing the small, in-between, moments in people's lives and seeing the reactions after they are shared makes me happy to think that I could create such a vivid memory for any of my clients.
